Today (5 Oct 2024) progress after heavy rain on Doi Mae Taeng, Mae Taeng District, Chiang Mai Province caused flash floods to inundate the Elephant Care Center, Elephant and Environment Conservation Foundation, Kuet Chang Subdistrict, Mae Taeng District, Chiang Mai Province, which has 126 elephants and sick and disabled pets such as dogs, cats, pigs, buffaloes and thousands more that required mobilization of volunteers to help with great difficulty due to water levels 1-2 meters high, roads cut off and difficult communication.
